AU General Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze Australian Financial Statements such as Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss, and Asset Registers using respective clients’ accounting systems;
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Activity Statements for clients in accordance with ATO guidelines;
Complete all other compliance documents as required;
Research various accounting and taxation matters as required;
Support and assist the team members with client queries;
Provide feedback to the manager regarding issues, improvements, or opportunities to offer the client additional services;
Ensure effective management and oversight of both accounts receivable billings and accounts payable billings processes;
Provide feedback to the business services manager.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accounting/Commerce;
At least 3-5 years of experience as an Australian general accountant;
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and financial principles and practices;
Working knowledge of GST, BAS, and IAS;
Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills;
Strong attention to detail and high levels of initiative;
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills;
QuickBooks Online and Xero Pro-Advisor;
Have experience in reconciling payment gateways such as PayPal, Afterpay, etc.

Project Accountant

Job Description

Responsible for inventory, fixed assets, and bank reconciliation
Will be working with the finance team of one of the largest healthy products companies in the Philippines
Preferably, graduates of an accountancy program or any accounting-related course.
At least 1 year of experience in general accounting or tax compliance
6-month contract with potential for extension
Free accommodation and transportation allowance

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience as an accountant.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks/Xero).
Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Excel managing spreadsheets and using advanced formulas).
Solid knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and audit principles, laws, and regulations.
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
Attention to detail and accuracy.

Accounting Intern

Job Description

Shadowing members of the PH tax team as they perform their duties
Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records of small clients
Working with JuanTax and other cloud accounting software
Preparing proposals, statements of work, and statements of accounts
Making industry research, simple blogs, and simple content for tax deadlines
Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients

Qualifications

BS Accountancy and other related courses
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Available laptop and fast internet for home-based work
